(a) The authority is a local agency for purposes of the Disaster Assistance Act (Chapter 7.5 (commencing with Section 8680) of Division 1 of Title 2).
(b) This section shall become inoperative on March 1, 2022, and, as of January 1, 2023, is repealed.
(Amended by Stats. 2021, Ch. 423, Sec. 8. (SB 69) Effective January 1, 2022. Inoperative March 1, 2022, by its own provisions. Repealed as of January 1, 2023, by its own provisions. See later operative version added by Sec. 9 of Stats. 2021, Ch. 423.)
