CHAPTER 1 - Jurisdiction and General Government
Section 4474.16.
(a) On or before January 10, 2020, and in conjunction with the Governor’s proposed 2020–21 budget, the State Department of Developmental Services shall submit to the Legislature an updated version of the safety net plan that was originally submitted pursuant to subdivision (a) of Section 4474.15. The updated plan shall be developed in consultation with stakeholders and shall evaluate the progress made to create a safety net, identify the further areas the stakeholder community suggests evaluating, and recommendations from the stakeholder community, and shall consider new models of care for individuals whom private sector vendors cannot or will not serve.
(b) A report to be submitted pursuant to subdivision (a) shall be submitted in compliance with Section 9795 of the Government Code.
