CA Pub Res Code § 5079.40 (2016) What's This?

5079.40. The office shall award grants on a competitive basis to public agencies and nonprofit organizations for the preservation of historical resources. A grant made pursuant to this article may not exceed the lesser of one million dollars ($1,000,000) or 50 percent of the cost of the project. A grant may be awarded on a noncompetitive basis for emergency purposes only.
