Section 12973.5.

CA Ins Code § 12973.5 (2016) What's This?

12973.5. The commissioner shall charge and collect in advance the following fees:

(a) For filing any application for a license, permit, or certificate of authority when a fee for either filing the application or issuing the license, permit, or certificate is not elsewhere specified in this code, twenty dollars ($20).

(b) For filing any application to take any qualifying examination required by this code to be taken by a licensee other than an insurer, or to be taken by any applicant for a license other than a certificate of authority when a fee for filing such application or giving such examination is not elsewhere specified in this code, twenty-nine dollars ($29).
