CA Govt Code § 66646.1 (2016) What's This?

66646.1. The Legislature finds that the State Water Resources Control Board and the California Regional Water Quality Control Board for the San Francisco Bay Region have the responsibility for establishing the beneficial uses of the waters of San Francisco Bay and setting water quality objectives to protect these uses, and have the primary responsibility for coordination, control, and enforcement of water quality in San Francisco Bay. The policies, decisions, advice, and authority of these boards should be the primary basis for the commission to carry out its water quality responsibilities in San Francisco Bay.
