Each health care service plan, specialized health care service plan, and health insurer that contracts to provide health care benefits under this part shall be licensed by the Department of Managed Health Care or the Department of Insurance.
(Amended by Stats. 2005, Ch. 80, Sec. 9. Effective July 19, 2005. Inoperative July 1, 2014, as prescribed in Section 12699.64. Repealed as of January 1, 2016, pursuant to Section 12699.64.)
