TITLE 21. THE CALIFORNIA SECURE CHOICE RETIREMENT SAVINGS TRUST ACT

CA Govt Code § 100042 (2013) What's This?

With the exceptions of subdivision (a) of Section 100002, and Sections 100040, 100043, and 100044, the provisions of this title shall become operative only if the board determines that, based on the market analysis, the provisions of this title will be self-sustaining, and funds are made available through a nonprofit or other private entity, federal funding, or an annual Budget Act appropriation in amounts sufficient to allow the board to implement this title until the trust has sufficient funds to be self-sustaining.

(Added by Stats. 2012, Ch. 734, Sec. 3. Effective January 1, 2013. Note: This section prescribes conditions for operation of Title 21, commencing with Section 100000.)
