CA Govt Code § 8870.6 (2013) What's This?

The commission shall appoint an executive director who shall be responsible for managing the affairs of the commission, subject to the direction and policies of the commission.

The executive director shall appoint such employees as may be necessary to carry out the functions of the commission.
