CA Welf & Inst Code § 19151 (through 2013 Leg Sess) What's This?
  

(a) The term “individual with a disability” means any individual who:

(1) Has a physical or mental impairment which constitutes or results in a substantial impediment to employment.

(2) Can benefit in terms of an employment outcome from vocational rehabilitation services provided pursuant to this chapter.

(b) The term “Individual with a severe disability” shall have the same meaning as specified in the federal Rehabilitation Act and includes, but is not limited to, any individual who has a disability or is blind as determined pursuant to Subchapter 2 (commencing with Section 401) and Subchapter 16 (commencing with Section 1381) of Chapter 7 of Title 42 of the United States Code.
