Section 14530
To the extent permissible under federal law, the Governor may set aside a portion of the youth funding specifically for programs to improve the academic skills of low-achieving youth, including those at risk of not passing the high school exit examination required by Section 60850 of the Education Code, and for dropout prevention activities.
