Section 9321


CA Com Code § 9321 (through 2013 Leg Sess) What's This?
  

(a) A lessee in ordinary course of business takes its leasehold interest free of a security interest in the goods created by the lessor, even if the security interest is perfected and the lessee knows of its existence.

(b) This section shall become operative on January 1, 2013.

(Amended (as amended by Stats. 2006, Ch. 567, Sec. 16) by Stats. 2009, Ch. 315, Sec. 2. Effective October 11, 2009. Section operative January 1, 2013, by its own provisions.)
