CA Welf & Inst Code § 9732 (through 2012 Leg Sess) What's This?

Any person who willfully interferes with any lawful action of the office shall be subject to a civil penalty of no more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), to be assessed by the director, who shall initiate the action, upon the request of the office, to collect the penalties in the jurisdiction in which the facility is located.

(Repealed and added by Stats. 1996, Ch. 1097, Sec. 13. Effective January 1, 1997.)
