CA Water Code § 40800 (through 2012 Leg Sess) What's This?

The office of the board and its place of meetings may be changed by a majority vote of the board, but no such change shall become effective until after the resolution making it has been published once a week for two successive weeks in the county in which the office of the board has theretofore been located.
