Section 21365


CA Govt Code § 21365 (through 2012 Leg Sess) What's This?

If, pursuant to Chapter 10 (commencing with Section 3500) of Division 4 of Title 1, Kings County enters into a binding memorandum of understanding and agrees to the application of this section, the county may elect to be subject to Section 21362 with respect to only those local safety members who are county peace officers as defined by Section 20436.

This section shall not apply to Kings County until the county elects to be subject to this section by amendment to its contract made in the manner prescribed for approval of contracts or, in the case of contracts made on or after January 1, 1988, by express provision in the contract making the contracting agency subject to this section.
