Title 7.87. Placer County Transportation Planning Agency

SECTION 67910-67911



67910.  The Placer County Transportation Planning Agency is hereby
created, as a local area planning agency, and not as a part of the
executive branch of the state government, to provide regional
transportation planning for the area of Placer County, exclusive of
the Tahoe Basin, as that term is defined in Section 66800. The agency
may be known by any other name it chooses.



67911.  The agency shall be composed of three members appointed by
the county board of supervisors and one member appointed by the city
council of each incorporated city in the county. The appointing
authority, for each regular member it appoints, may appoint an
alternate member to serve in place of the regular member when the
regular member is absent or disqualified from participating in a
meeting of the agency.
