Article 17. Foreclosure On Tax-deeded Land

GOVERNMENT CODE
SECTION 59620-59621



59620.  Upon any default in the payment of an installment of
interest or principal of any new bond issued to represent a
reassessment upon tax-deeded land, the land may be sold or a
foreclosure suit brought pursuant to this chapter as in the case of
other lands.



59621.  The State, or the city or other municipal or public
corporation may be made a party defendant in such foreclosure suit,
or in any quiet title suit brought by the purchaser at the treasurer'
s sale or by his successor in interest. It is a sufficient service of
process to serve the Attorney General for the State or the president
of the legislative body for a city or other municipal or public
corporation.
