SECTION 9185-9189
9185. Any fees which are provided for by any provision of this division and regulations promulgated pursuant to it shall be due and payable upon receipt of a statement from the department itemizing the kind and amount of such fees. Such fees shall be paid to the director within 30 days of the receipt of the statement. 9186. Any fees which are due and payable pursuant to Section 9185 which are not paid may be recovered by the director in accordance with the provisions of Section 281. 9187. A penalty assessment of 5 percent per month of the amount of any unpaid fees, not to exceed 25 percent, shall be collected by the director when fees are not paid in accordance with Section 9185. 9188. The director shall have a lien upon any livestock and real property owned by the person owing any fees due under any provision of this division that are not paid pursuant to Section 9185. 9189. All money which is collected pursuant to this division shall be paid into the State Treasury and shall be credited to the Department of Food and Agriculture Fund and may be expended in carrying out the provisions of this division.
