2009 California Public Utilities Code - Section 30470-30471 :: Article 4. Other Benefits

PUBLIC UTILITIES CODE
SECTION 30470-30471 

30470.  The district shall take such steps as may be necessary to
obtain coverage of its employees under Title 2 of the Federal Social
Security Act, as amended, and the related provisions of the Federal
Insurance Contributions Act, as amended.

30471.  The district shall take such steps as may be necessary to
obtain coverage for the district and its employees under the state
laws relating to workers' compensation and insurance, unemployment
compensation, and disability compensation.
