2009 California Health and Safety Code - Section 4879-4880 :: Article 2.3. Inclusion In County Sanitation District

HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE
SECTION 4879-4880

4879.  Any district organized under the provisions of this act may
become a part of a county sanitation district after the board of
supervisors of the county within which the district is located, has,
after a hearing, pursuant to the County Sanitation District Act,
found and determined by resolution duly adopted that such inclusion
is for the best interest of the district and the governing body of
the district consents thereto by resolution adopted by the
affirmative vote of four-fifths of its members.

4880.  A district which becomes a part of the county sanitation
district as hereinabove provided for is not thereby dissolved, but
may continue to function, except as otherwise provided in Part 1 of
Division 6 of this code, in the same manner as heretofore.
