SECTION 50140-50142



50140.  Any person who cuts, injures, or destroys reclamation works
in any district, is responsible for all damages occasioned thereby to
such works.


50141.  An action for damages caused by cutting, injuring, or
destroying reclamation works may be commenced in the superior court
of any county in which the works are situated, in the names of the
trustees of the district.  If there is no board, the action may be
brought in the name of any landowner in the district.



50142.  Damages recovered in the action shall be paid to the
treasurer of the county in which the action is brought, who shall
credit the amount to the district.
