SECTION 44455-44457



44455.  All claims against the district shall be paid by warrants of
the district.



44456.  To provide a fund for payment of claims, the board may from
time to time draw from the general fund deposited and kept to the
credit of the district in the office of the county treasurer of a
county having funds belonging to the district in his possession such
sums as may be necessary.  The sums shall be deposited with the
treasurer of the district and paid out by him upon warrants of the
district.



44457.  All claims for money or damages against the district are
governed by Part 3 (commencing with Section 900) and Part 4
(commencing with Section 940) of Division 3.6 of Title 1 of the
Government Code except as provided therein, or by other statutes or
regulations expressly applicable thereto.
