STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE
SECTION 8237



8237.  After any project has been completely constructed the
commission may at its option convey all the right, title and interest
of the district in and to that project to the city in which the
project was constructed or county if the project is in an
unincorporated area; provided, the governing body of the city or
county consents to and accepts the conveyance, and agrees to maintain
the project.  All projects so conveyed shall be held by the city or
county without any further liability or responsibility on the part of
the district.  No such conveyance shall affect the liability of the
district for any bonds previously issued by the district.
