PUBLIC UTILITIES CODE
SECTION 22256-22259



22256.  By a resolution entered on its minutes, the board of
supervisors of each affected county shall declare the district formed
if:
   (a) A majority of the votes cast at the election is for the
formation of the district.
   (b) A majority of the votes cast in a majority in number of the
cities included in whole or in part in the district, counting all of
the unincorporated territory in each affected county as a city for
this purpose, is for the formation of the district.




22257.  The resolution shall contain the name of the district and a
description or other designation of its boundaries.



22258.  A certified copy of the resolution shall be recorded in the
office of the recorder of each affected county.



22259.  Upon the filing with the Secretary of State, the formation
of the district is complete.
