67950.  The El Dorado County Transportation Planning Agency is
hereby created, as a local area planning agency, and not as a part of
the executive branch of the state government, to provide regional
transportation planning for the area of El Dorado County, exclusive
of the Tahoe Basin.  The agency may be known by any other name it
chooses.



67951.  The agency shall be composed of three members appointed by
the county board of supervisors and three members appointed by the
city council of the City of Placerville.  The appointing authority,
for each regular member it appoints, may appoint an alternate member
to serve in place of the regular member when the regular member is
absent or disqualified from participating in a meeting of the agency.
