5694. Each community support program for the homeless mentally disabled should also assist its clients to establish self-help groups and peer counseling. Each agency should offer each client a written individualized service plan that will specify the services to be provided as a result of discussions with the client and the rights of the client, as well as the expected results or outcomes of the services. Each program should encourage each client to include family members, friends, his or her primary therapist, and his or her physician in the development of his or her individualized service plan. 5694.5. The counties may utilize designated mental health funding pursuant to this part for establishing and maintaining any client self-help mental health projects.
