2005 California Vehicle Code Sections 29800 CHAPTER 3. LUMBER AND LUMBER PRODUCTS

SECTION 29800 

29800.  (a) The department shall adopt regulations relating to the
safe loading, securement and transporting of lumber and lumber
products including, but not limited to, ties, laths, grapestakes,
fenceposts, plywood and shingles.
   (b) In adopting these regulations the department shall consider
the type of vehicle to be used, the construction of loads and the
type of binders, stakes and restraining devices required to contain
the load.
   (c) It is unlawful to fail to comply with any provision of these
regulations.
