PUBLIC RESOURCES CODESECTION 5096.151
5096.151. All money deposited in the Parklands Fund of 1980 shall be available for appropriation in the manner set forth in Section 5096.206 for the purposes set forth below in amounts not to exceed the following: (a) For grants to counties, cities, and districts for the acquisition, de- velopment, rehabilitation, or res- toration of real property for park, beach, recreational, and historical resources preservation purposes, in- cluding state administrative costs ...... $85,000,000 (b) For acquisition, development, reha- bilitation, or restoration of real property for the state park system in accordance with the following schedule ................................ $70,000,000 Schedule: (1) Sixty million dollars ($60,000,000) for acquisition, development, and rehabilitation and for cost of planning and interpretation, of which not less than thirty million dollars ($30,000,000) shall be for development and rehabilitation of structures and facilities in ex- isting units of the state park system. (2) Ten million dollars ($10,000,000) for acquisition, development, and resto- ration of historical resources and for historical resources preservation projects and costs of planning and interpretation. (c) For expenditure for coastal resources in accordance with the following schedule ................................ $90,000,000 Schedule: (1) Sixty million dollars ($60,000,000) for acquisition or development of real property for the state park system and costs of planning. (2) Thirty million dollars ($30,000,000) for grants to counties, cities, and districts for the acquisition, de- velopment, rehabilitation, or res- toration of real property, or the acquisition of any interest in real property, necessary for the imple- mentation of local coastal programs; for the implementation of projects in San Francisco Bay, as defined in subdivisions (a) and (b) of Section 31006, and in the Santa Monica Moun- tains Zone, as described in Section 33105; and for state administrative costs in connection therewith. (d) For expenditure by the State Coastal Conservancy for purposes set forth in Division 21 (commencing with Section 31000), and for state administrative and planning costs in connection therewith ............................. $10,000,000 (e) For expenditure by the Department of Parks and Recreation for the purposes of the Roberti-Z'berg Urban Open- Space and Recreation Program Act (commencing with Section 5620 of the Public Resources Code) ................ $30,000,000 provided, however, that notwithstanding the provisions of Section 5627, funds made available pursuant to this category may be expended only for capital outlay purposes.
