HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE
SECTION 40200-40201

40200.  A district, which is called the Bay Area Air Quality
Management District, which was formerly known as the Bay Area Air
Pollution Control District, is hereby continued in existence within
the boundaries of the Counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa,
San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara and those portions of the
Counties of Solano and Sonoma within the boundaries of the Bay Area
Air Pollution Control District as it existed on January 1, 1976.  Any
reference to the Bay Area Air Pollution Control District shall be
deemed to be a reference to the Bay Area Air Quality Management
District.
40201.  The bay district shall continue to transact business and
exercise its powers under this division in the counties, and portions
of counties, specified in Section 40200.
