2005 California Health and Safety Code Sections 37850-37854 CHAPTER 1. DEFINITIONS

37850.  "Area housing plan" means a plan meeting the legal
requirements for a local housing element, required by Section 65302
of the Government Code, and which is adopted by an area housing
council.
37851.  "City" means any city or city and county.  "County" means
any county.
37852.  "Council" means an area housing council created pursuant to
this part.
37853.  "General plan" means a plan adopted by a city or county
pursuant to Article 5 (commencing with Section 65300) of Chapter 3 of
Title 7 of the Government Code.
37854.  "Governing body" means the city council in the case of a
city or the board of supervisors in the case of a county.
