HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE
SECTION 20330-20332

20330.  The members of the board are ex officio directors of the
district.
20331.  The board may perform all acts necessary to provide adequate
police protection in the district.
20332.  The board may levy a tax on property in the district
sufficient to raise a sum not in excess of three thousand six hundred
dollars ($3,600) per annum.  The tax shall be levied and collected
in the same manner and by the same officers as in the case of county
general property taxes.
