HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE
SECTION 1676-1677

1676.  An annual fee, to be employed for the enforcement of this
act, shall accompany each application for approval.  The fee shall be
determined by the director by regulations based on the number of
animals used for the purposes of this chapter and in an amount
sufficient to cover the cost of administering this chapter.
1677.  Annual fees payable under this chapter shall become due and
payable by each person approved by the board 12 months from the date
of its issuance. Such fees shall be paid by the department into the
General Fund in the State Treasury.  It is the intention of the
Legislature that the cost of administering this act shall be
substantially covered by the revenues collected hereunder.
