HEALTH AND SAFETY CODESECTION 115130-115140
115130. The department, on behalf of this state, may enter into an agreement or agreements with the federal government, other states, or interstate agencies, whereby this state will perform on a co-operative basis with the federal government, other states, or interstate agencies, inspections or other functions relating to control of sources of ionizing radiation. 115135. The department and any other appropriate state agency may institute training programs for the purpose of qualifying personnel to carry out this chapter, and may make those personnel available for participation in any program or programs of the federal government, other states, or interstate agencies in furtherance of the purposes of this chapter. 115140. Ordinances, resolutions or regulations, now or hereafter in effect, of the governing body of a city or county relating to radioactive materials or other sources of radiation shall not be superseded by this chapter, provided that the ordinances or regulations are and continue to be consistent with the provisions of this chapter, amendments thereto, and regulations thereunder. No city or county shall require the payment of a fee in connection with the activities governed by Section 115065 when a fee is required by rules or regulations adopted pursuant to that section, and no city or county shall require the payment of a fee in connection with the activities governed by Section 115080 when a fee is required by rules or regulations adopted pursuant to that section.
