2005 California Health and Safety Code Sections 100250-100255 Article 2. State Laboratories

HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE
SECTION 100250-100255 

100250.  The department shall maintain a laboratory and branch
laboratories as may be necessary to perform the microbiological,
physical and chemical analyses required to meet the responsibilities
of the department.
100255.  The department may prepare or purchase biological products
and distribute them at cost.
