2005 California Government Code Sections 8549.20-8549.22 Article 3. Business Resumption Plans

GOVERNMENT CODE
SECTION 8549.20-8549.22

8549.20.  (a) The Department of General Services, in cooperation and
consultation with the team, shall develop model business resumption
plans which detail how a responsible administrator should direct
state employees and state agency operations when, including, but not
limited to, any of the following business interruptions affect a
state agency:
   (1) Act of terrorism.
   (2) Asbestos release.
   (3) Earthquake.
   (4) Fire.
   (5) Loss of electronic information.
   (6) Loss of all or a portion of state-occupied space for a period
of one hour or more.
   (7) Major theft of equipment or documents.
   (8) Public transportation interruption of five days or more which
impedes the ability of agency employees to commute to work.
   (9) Toxic spill.
   (b) The team may include, in the development of model business
interruption plans, other business interruptions in addition to those
listed in subdivision (a).
8549.21.  In developing model business resumption plans, the team
shall identify emergency response plans and actions which are
required by federal or state law.
8549.22.  The team shall, not later than July 1, 1991, furnish each
state agency with the model business resumption plan developed
pursuant to this article.
