2005 California Government Code Sections 69560 Article 2.5. Reduction of Number of Judges in Superior Court

GOVERNMENT CODE
SECTION 69560 

69560.  If the Legislature diminishes the number of judges of the
superior court in any county or city and county, the offices which
first become vacant, to the number of judges diminished, shall be
deemed to be abolished.
