2005 California Elections Code Sections 18700 CHAPTER 8. OBLIGATIONS OF PRECINCT BOARD

ELECTIONS CODE
SECTION 18700 

18700.  Any voter who has filed an application for the position of,
and been appointed as a precinct board member and who, without being
excused by the county elections official, knowingly fails to act as a
precinct board member, is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a
fine not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
