§ 27-14-404. Organization
(a) The Commissioner of Motor Vehicles shall organize the Office of Motor Vehicle in the manner as he or she may deem necessary and proper to segregate and conduct the work of the office.
(b) The commissioner shall appoint such deputies, subordinate officers, clerks, investigators, and other employees as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this chapter.
(c) The commissioner shall maintain an office in the State Capitol and in such other places in the state as he or she may deem necessary and proper to carry out the powers and duties vested in the office.
