§ 14-48-115 - Mayor or director vacancy.

AR Code § 14-48-115 (2015) What's This?

In the case of a vacancy in the office of mayor or in the office of a member of the board of directors, the board, at the first regular meeting after the occurrence of the vacancy and by majority vote, shall appoint a person or call for a special election to be held in accordance with ยง 7-11-101 et seq. to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the unexpired term.
