§ 17-38-309 - Grounds for suspension or revocation.

The Committee of Plumbing Examiners of the State Board of Health, on its own motion, may make investigations and conduct hearings and, on its own motion or upon complaint in writing signed and verified by the complainant and upon not less than ten (10) days' notice to the licensee, may suspend any plumber's license or temporary permit if the committee has reason to believe, and may revoke the license or permit in the manner provided in ยง 17-38-310 if it finds, that the holder of the license or permit has:

(1) Made a material misstatement in the application for license or renewal thereof or for temporary permit;

(2) Demonstrated incompetency to act as a license holder; or

(3) Has willfully violated any provisions of this chapter or any rule, regulation, or order prescribed by the State Board of Health.
