§ 16-106-301 - Exhaustion of administrative remedies required.


AR Code § 16-106-301 (2012) What's This?

No action shall be brought with respect to prison conditions under Section 1979 of the Revised Statutes of the United States ( 42 U.S.C. ยง 1983), or any other federal law, by an incarcerated person, defined for purposes of this subchapter as a person who has been convicted of a crime and is incarcerated for that crime or is being held in custody for trial or sentencing, until such administrative remedies as are available are exhausted, provided, that the statute of limitations is tolled during the period of time the application for the administrative remedies is pending.
