§ 8-6-811 - Bonds -- Tax exemption.
8-6-811. Bonds -- Tax exemption.Bonds issued under the provisions of this subchapter and the interest thereon shall be exempt from all state, county, and municipal taxes, including property, income, inheritance, and estate taxes. Provided, however, that nothing herein shall preclude a district from requesting the Arkansas Development Finance Authority to issue taxable bonds in furtherance of the purposes hereof, on such terms as the regional solid waste management district and the authority deem advisable and in conformity with the authority's statutory authority for issuance of such bonds.
