§ 6-16-121 - African-American history -- Teaching materials.
6-16-121. African-American history -- Teaching materials.(a) The Commissioner of Education shall develop the materials or units for the teaching of historical contributions made by African-Americans in the United States and in other countries prior to the establishment of the United States for inclusion in the appropriate curricula of all kindergarten through grade twelve (K-12) of all public schools in the State of Arkansas, beginning with the 1994-1995 school year.
(b) The commissioner shall ensure that these materials or units are reproduced and sent to all school districts in the state.
