§ 20-7-107 - Appointment of assistant director.
20-7-107. Appointment of assistant director.The Director of the Division of Health of the Department of Health and Human Services may appoint and employ an assistant director who shall be knowledgeable in the field of public health and whose duty it shall be to assist the director in the general supervision of the affairs of his or her office and in the enforcement of quarantine and sanitation throughout the state.
