§ 16-19-902 - Cases in which no stay to be allowed.
16-19-902. Cases in which no stay to be allowed.No stay shall be allowed against any collecting officer, or attorney at law or agent, for a delinquency or default in executing or discharging the duties of his office or place or for failing to pay over money collected by him in such capacity, or against a principal by his surety on a stay bond or otherwise, or on a judgment for specific property, or for the property or its value. In the cases mentioned in this section in which a stay is not allowed, the justice of the peace shall note the same on his docket on the day of the rendition thereof.
