§ 14-20-111 - Marriage license fee.
14-20-111. Marriage license fee.(a) The quorum court of any county may levy, in addition to fees and taxes now charged, a fee not to exceed five dollars ($5.00) on each application for a marriage license. Such a fee shall be collected by the county clerk at the time application is made.
(b) All fees collected under the provisions of this section shall be credited by the county treasurer to the county general fund and shall be appropriated by the quorum court as provided by law.
