§ 41-4256 Senior advisory committee; membership; duties; committee termination

41-4256. Senior advisory committee; membership; duties; committee termination

A. The senior advisory committee is established to enhance integration of disciplines involved in homeland security. In addition to membership required or permitted by federal homeland security grant program guidance, the committee consists of the following members:

1. Two members of the house of representatives who are appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives and who are members of different political parties or the members' proxies.

2. Two members of the senate who are appointed by the president of the senate and who are members of different political parties or the members' proxies.

B. The committee shall operate in accordance with federal homeland security grant program guidance.

C. Members are not eligible to receive compensation but are eligible for reimbursement of expenses pursuant to title 38, chapter 4, article 2.

D. The committee established by this section ends on July 1, 2019 pursuant to section 41-3103.
