§ 32-3620 Basis for denial of a license or certificate

32-3620. Basis for denial of a license or certificate

A. The superintendent may deny the initial issuance or renewal of a license or certificate as a registered trainee appraiser, a supervisory appraiser or a state-licensed or state-certified appraiser to an applicant who has been convicted of a felony or on any of the grounds prescribed in this chapter.

B. To assist in determining whether grounds exist to deny the initial issuance or renewal of a license or certificate to an applicant, the superintendent shall require the applicant to apply for a valid fingerprint clearance card issued pursuant to section 41-1758.03.

C. A person who is denied the issuance of a license or certificate may request, and if requested shall receive, a hearing in accordance with title 41, chapter 6, article 10.
