§ 8-514.01 Placement of children with developmental disabilities

8-514.01. Placement of children with developmental disabilities

All foster placements of children with developmental disabilities made by the division shall be made to child developmental foster homes for children with developmental disabilities operated or licensed by the department of economic security pursuant to title 36, chapter 5.1, article 3 that provide specialized programs for children with developmental disabilities, except that placements of children with developmental disabilities to other types of foster homes licensed pursuant to this article may be made, if the division determines that such placement is in the best interests of the child.
