41-2414. Arizona automated fingerprint identification system fund

A. The Arizona automated fingerprint identification system fund is established consisting of monies appropriated by the legislature for operation and maintenance of the Arizona automated fingerprint identification system.

B. The department of public safety shall administer the fund pursuant to administrative procedures established in the master plan.

C. Monies in the fund shall be used for the following purposes:

1. Purchase and installation of fingerprint identification equipment.

2. Operation and maintenance of the system and remote terminals.

3. Costs of administering the system.
