28-953 Brakes on all‑terrain vehicles and motor driven cycles

28-953. Brakes on all-terrain vehicles and motor driven cycles A. The director may: 1. Require an inspection of the brake on an all-terrain vehicle or a motor driven cycle. 2. Disapprove a brake that does not comply with the performance ability standard provided in section 28-952 or that is not so designed or constructed to ensure reasonable and reliable performance in actual use. B. The director may refuse to register or may suspend or revoke the registration of a vehicle referred to in this section if the director determines that the brake on the vehicle does not comply with this section. C. A person shall not operate on a highway a vehicle referred to in this section if the director has disapproved the brake equipment on the vehicle or type of vehicle. |
